April is known for longer outdoor periods, more daytime fun, the blooming of pollen and the beauty of gardening as temperatures rise.

Will we trend typical or warmer? How about precipitation trends? Here's a look at those two important weather variables and anticipated trend in April.

In the tri-state, we are trending warmer and typical for wet/dry chances throughout the month.

We usually average 4.07 inches of rain in April and could use it to eliminate some drought areas across the region.
