A bear rescued by Last Resort Wildlife Refuge is recovering from smoke inhalation and burns after being found exhausted near the New Jersey-New York state border.
The bear was discovered curled up on smoldering ground.
Crews relocated her to higher ground and a den for recovery.
Officials say the bear suffered from smoke inhalation and burns on her paws, but is expected to make a full recovery.
