The widow of one of the victims of this year's "Tragedy on the Tracks" is now suing Metro-North among others.
Eric Vandercar, 53, was one of six people killed when a commuter train crashed into an SUV in Valhalla in February. Vandercar's wife claims a dangerous grade crossing, defective emergency exits and poor decision-making are to blame for her husband's death.
The widow has named the MTA, Westchester County, Westchester public works and transportation departments in the suit.
More than 40 lawsuits have been filed as a result of the crash.
