Community members in White Plains are struggling without electricity for a week.
On Baylor Circle, at least 10 families don't have power and say they are losing hope for any help.
Some families say they live with medical conditions like diabetes or Parkinson's, and that electricity is vital to move around the home and breathe easy in the humidity.
Many have temporarily moved into nearby family homes to get through the summer heat the past week, but they say a transformer has also been leaking on to the street since the storm passed last week.
The families say they are desperate for a solution to the leak and the outage.
