Flooding in White Plains caused severe damage to dozens of homes in one neighborhood.
Residents in North White Plains along Holland Avenue pulled out their belongings from basements hoping the sun will dry everything out on Thursday.
It was a long night for people there who watched as floodwaters rose in a matter of minutes.
Basements flooded across the neighborhood, including on Cloverdale Avenue.
Neighbors there say they were just recovering from flooding a few weeks ago during Henri, but that this storm was much worse.
They blame a swamp on the other side of Central Westchester Parkway, but say the city says the floodwater is coming from the Bronx River on the other side of the neighborhood.
Whatever is causing the flooding, residents say something needs to be done - before someone is badly injured or killed.
