Chef Giovanni Farruggio, of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, shows News 12's Lily Stolzberg how to make meatloaf.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lb. ground beef
½ lb. ground pork
½ lb. ground veal
3 eggs
1 cup pecorino romano (grated)
1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1tbs. garlic (chopped)
¼ cup parsley (chopped)
1 sheet of Parchment paper
DIRECTIONS:
1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix until all are incorporated well.
2. Place the parchment paper on a flat surface.
3. Place the meat mixture in the center of the paper and proceed to roll up the meat as if you were wrapping a tootsie roll.
4. Place the wrapped meat on a sheet pan and cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
