The aging Westchester Pavilion Mall in White Plains will soon be transformed into a nearly $300 million mecca of modern living.
It will feature two 24-story residential towers, six restaurants and lots of retail space. It is the largest development project the city has seen in over a decade.
Once the project is completed, it will also house the city's first rooftop pool.
Mayor Tom Road expects the 709 rental apartments to bring an estimated 1,500 new faces to the city's downtown area.
It's unclear how long the project will take to be completed, but construction is expected to begin by the fall.
