Inspiring teenagers through sports was the goal Thursday in White Plains as members of the Westchester Knicks teamed up with Family Services of Westchester for a basketball clinic.

Homeless teenagers or those whose parents aren’t around were invited to attend.

"I want them to love something, love the game, find a connection, to know that basketball is not just a game it’s a place to meet people,” said organizer, David Simon.

Another clinic is being held today.
