Westchester County police: Motorcyclist dies in crash on Bronx River Parkway

County police say the motorcyclist was killed around 2 p.m. when he lost control and crashed a little south of the Yonkers Avenue exit.

Westchester County police say a motorcyclist died in a crash on the northbound Bronx River Parkway, just north of the city line on Monday
Citizen App video shows the bike on its side and the traffic back up.
County police say the motorcyclist was killed around 2 p.m. when he lost control and crashed a little south of the Yonkers Avenue exit.
No other cars seem to have been involved, according to the police.
Police say traffic was temporarily diverted off the Bronx River Parkway at the 233rd Street exit in the Bronx, but all lanes of the Bronx River Parkway have reopened.
