The Westchester County Legislature will vote on a resolution Wednesday afternoon to remove Catherine Borgia as head of the Legislature.
The 4 p.m. vote comes after the board asked Borgia to resign.
She has been criticized for how she handled allegations that an aide was seen on video trying to solicit a minor.
Borgia has defended her actions, saying she followed the law and upheld the County Charter.
In a statement Monday, Borgia said some of her colleagues had been distracted by politics and personal advancement.
She added they believe a political witch hunt against her will advance them individually, and she will not resign.
