A veteran Westchester County Health Department official was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly filing false financial disclosures.
Officials say Assistant Health Commissioner Peter DeLucia, 54, failed to disclose to the Westchester County Board of Ethics more than $95,000 in income he received from an environmental health consulting firm. The income was received over three years.
DeLuica was charged with three felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing. He will be arraigned at a later date.
A county spokeswoman said DeLuca has been on administrative leave and resigned effective next Monday.
