The Westchester Community Foundation is looking to help local nonprofits as they take on the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has launched a fundraiser called the Westchester COVID-19 response fund, and is hoping to raise $1 million or more to help nonprofits that are working on the front lines in the county to address the basic needs of residents.
"The nice thing is every dollar is matched. No amount is too small or too large. We have this nice matching grant ... in to the next year," says Laura Rossi, of the Westchester Community Foundation.
The foundation recently received a $1 million matching grant from an anonymous donor.
