Westchester 8-year-old to be featured in national Down syndrome awareness campaign
They’re sponsoring an online fundraiser for a New York City “buddy walk” that’s taking place on the same day.

A Westchester child will be featured next month in a national campaign for Down syndrome.
A photo of 8-year-old Waylon Devita, of Pleasantville, will be part of a video presentation on Sept. 9 in Times Square. The video will highlight the National Down Syndrome Society’s new fundraising campaign.
“Team Waylon” is also helping out with a donation drive. They’re sponsoring an online fundraiser for a New York City “buddy walk” that’s taking place on the same day.
