Businesses in Katonah on Katonah Avenue are showcasing the unique ways they have financially survived during the pandemic.
The sign at the Whitlock Restaurant says, "We're open."  The owners want patrons to know that loud and clear. The restaurant is open for curbside pickup, and starting next week patrons will be able to use the outdoor patio dining area.
Owner Christina Drake Safarowic says it's been a crazy journey.
"The first six were really, really scary," says Safarowic. "Then I think we were able to take baby steps into the restaurant and then just start slow one service at a time keeping service at the forefront."
Restuarants will have to follow strict social distancing guidelines when they reopen.
