News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see a sunny weekend with warm temperatures in the 70s.
WHAT'S NEW: A weekend warmup is on the way. Temperatures rise above average levels of a high of 67 for both Saturday and Sunday. A chance for rain arrives late Sunday but clears out before the Monday morning rush.
WHAT’S NEXT: Outside of rain chances for Tuesday, the week ahead looks great - especially the week’s end.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: Decreasing clouds, light winds, shower chances fade. Lows in the low- to mid-40s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny with temperatures above average levels. Highs in the upper-60s to low-70s. Lows in the upper-40s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and warmer. Clouds increase later on with a chance for rain after 7 p.m., 8 p.m. Highs in the low- to mid-70s. Lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.
MONDAY: Partly sunny, staying warm, with a dry northwest breeze. Highs in the low- to mid-70s. Lows in the low- to mid-50s.
TUESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with rain chances. Highs in the mid-60s. Lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.
WEDNESDAY: Morning showers fade early on with drier conditions and a mix of sun and clouds to follow. Highs in the mid-60s. Lows in the upper-40s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper-60s to low-70s. Lows in the upper-40s to low-50s.
FRIDAY - PICK OF THE WEEK: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs in the low- to mid-70s. Lows in the mid-50s.
