Thunderstorms and hail could impact the Hudson Valley today.
News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says a line of storms could bring some severe weather to the region some time from early afternoon to early evening.
Van Eck says the storm could bring heavy downpours and could cause flooding on flood-prone roadways.
Van Eck advises not to cancel any evening outdoor plans since the storms should be clear of the region by 5 p.m., and he expects a pleasant but cool evening.
