NOW: Few spotty storms in the northern parts of the area. Dry, warm down in the southern parts of the Hudson Valley.
NEXT: Pop-up storms are more widespread tomorrow afternoon, but severe weather is not likely.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and dry with lows near 70 degrees. 
TUESDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH -- Mostly sunny during the morning with a mix of sun and clouds during the afternoon. A few spotty showers and storms expected. Severe risk is low at this time. Highs around 85 degrees. Lows near 69 degrees. 
WEDNESDAY: HEAT ALERT -- Mostly sunny and dry, but hot and a bit more humid. Highs near 92 degrees. FEELS LIKE: Mid- to upper-90s. RECORD: 96 (1999). Lows near 74 degrees.
 
THURSDAY: HEAT ALERT -- Sun and clouds with an isolated storm possible well north and west. Hot and humid. Highs near 94 degrees. FEELS LIKE: Upper 90s to 100. RECORD: 95 (1963) Lows near 76 degrees. 
FRIDAY: HEAT ALERT -- Sun and clouds. Potential dangerous heat. Highs around 94 degrees. FEELS LIKE: 100 to 105. RECORD: 97 (1949)A few showers and storms possible. Lows around 74 degrees. 
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers likely. Highs near 89 degrees. Lows around 68 degrees. 
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 82 degrees. Lows around 65 degrees.
