News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see sun and clouds before a chance for a spotty shower on Friday.
WHAT'S NEW: Scattered early downpours on Friday, but a mix of sun and clouds into the afternoon with a spottier chance for showers and storms. The weekend still looks great.
WHAT'S NEXT: There will be some sun and clouds on Saturday with warm temperatures, which will continue into Sunday. Some haze could return for the second half of the weekend. The next chance of rain is on Tuesday.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy with rain and a few thunderstorms well after midnight. Lows around 72 degrees.
FRIDAY -- WEATHER TO WATCH: Trending a little better. However, there will be a round of scattered downpours and a thunderstorm chance from around 5-8 a.m. A mix of sun and clouds with a few spotty showers and a thunderstorm possible the rest of the day. Any downpour that does move through will have the chance to create some minor nuisance flooding, but it should not be a widespread issue. Rain totals will likely be under 1 inch. Highs around 82 degrees and humid. Lows near 65 degrees.
