News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see scattered showers throughout Friday.

WHAT'S NOW: The timing of the approaching storm system has moved up a little. Rain is less of a concern for Saturday. Rain will impact Friday morning commute and could be an issue for the afternoon one.

WHAT'S NEW: On and off batches of rain will come through Friday. The showers will look to wrap up Saturday morning. Breezy winds will kick in Saturday afternoon and turn windy Saturday night into Sunday. They are not expected to get to advisory criteria.

WHAT'S NEXT: As the system leaves the region, cooler air will move in Sunday night into Monday and last into Tuesday morning. Morning lows for Monday and Tuesday morning could trend as low as the upper-30s.
