People on both sides of the Hudson River will have to wait an extra day for their Halloween parades this weekend.
Because of the storm in tomorrow's forecast, officials in Nyack and Tarrytown are postponing tomorrow's festivities until Sunday Oct. 28.
Tarrytown officials say assembly time for marchers is from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Patriot’s Park and the parade will commence marching at 5:30 p.m.
In Nyack, marchers and floats will assemble at 3:00 pm for registration and judging in Memorial Park at the corner of Depew and Piermont Streets. The parade will also start at 5:30 pm.
Expect traffic delays on surrounding local streets before and during the parades.
