A Hastings nursing home is taking Ebola precautions after one of its employees recently returned from West Africa.

The director at the Andrus on Hudson nursing home on Old Broadway confirmed to News 12 that an employee just returned from Nigeria. The employee has not experienced any Ebola-like symptoms, but she is being monitored as a precaution.

Nigeria is not one of the three countries on a watch list for Ebola, but there have been cases of the virus there.

People who have relatives at the facility say they are happy the facility was quick to take precautions.
