A water restriction is lifted for many people living in lower Westchester County.

Company officials at SUEZ Water New York say customers can now start watering their flowers and lawns again.

Outdoor water usage in Rye Brook and Port Chester had been restricted since September of last year due to a severe drought.

SUEZ officials say people should still use the water wisely because the hottest months and heaviest usage periods are still ahead.
