Westchester County Executive George Latimer is providing a coronavirus update.
BRIEFING NOTES:
- Latimer: There are 813 active cases of COVID-19 in Westchester County.
- There have been 34,106 total COVID-19 cases.
- 195,936 people have been tested for the virus. That's around 19% of the population. The percentage of positive tests has "dropped dramatically." (83% testing negative)
- There was one COVID-19-related death on June 10.
- Latimer welcomes Victoria Gearity, the mayor of the Village of Ossining.
