A Warwick kindergartener is thankfully OK after getting rescued from a tree that he was stuck in yesterday.
The boy's mom, Nicole, gave News 12 photos that she posted to her Facebook page thanking first responders for helping her son.
Nicole says the 5-year-old boy, Will, was playing in the woods near their house on Chardavoyne Road when his leg got stuck in a tree that he was climbing and was turning blue.
Rescuers were able to cut the tree to free the boy and even stayed to take a picture with him on one of the firetrucks afterward.
The Pine Island Fire Department also posted about the rescue and said they were happy to help and happy to see that kids still play outside these days.
