A warming center opened at the Westchester County Center in White Plains Tuesday for those left without heat or power from Friday's nor'easter.
People were able to charge their devices and also watch movies.
"We're warm, we have light, we have electricity," said Commissioner of Recreation Cathy O'Connor.
O'Connor said the County Center was working cooperatively with County Executive George Latimer's office to offer a place where people could come and "regroup and feel better."
