A village in Dutchess County will be celebrating its community in a unique and safe way.
Starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, the radio station WPDH is teaming up with a group called Wappingers Rises to connect residents through their music while practicing social distancing.
For two hours, the group will drive around the village of Wappingers Falls playing positive music from the station.
They're asking residents to call in song requests while thanking those workers on the front lines of the pandemic.
Organizers ask that people who are participating to please do not gather into groups.
