8h agoThe top spellers in the U.S. and beyond are in Maryland this week competing in the 95th Scripps National Spelling Bee -- including one student from the Hudson Valley.
Sixth grader Noah Kaplan goes to Brinckerhoff Elementary School in the Wappingers Central School District. He was one of 231 kids in this year's bee.
Kaplan thanked his friends and family and expressed how proud he is to represent his district.
