9ds agoThe Village of Mamaroneck has announced increased benefits for volunteer firefighters injured in the line of duty.
Volunteer firefighters that are injured in any fire department activity will now receive $1,000 per week, up from $650.
Additionally, the medical expense benefit has been raised from $15,000 to $50,000, and the death benefit increased from $30,000 to $50,000.
