A video posted online apparently showing three middle school girls jumping another student has prompted a districtwide investigation.
The eight seconds of footage was shot Monday afternoon during a lunch period at Blue Mountain Middle School in Cortlandt.
Video of the incident shows three females walking up to a fellow classmate before yanking her from her chair and hitting her while on the ground.
A district spokesperson tells News 12 that the students involved have been disciplined according to the school's code of conduct policy. That discipline could range anywhere from community service to suspension, depending on the student's record.
