The bitter divide between two cultures came to a head this week in Rockland County after a new video surfaced on YouTube making comparisons to Nazi Germany.
The five-minute video, produced by Benny Polatseck of Colossal PR on behalf of the Orthodox Jewish Public Affairs Council, claims there is an alarming rise in anti-Semitism in Rockland that is reminiscent of Nazi Germany.
The video is called "The Jew in Rockland," and comes amid a bitter clash over the handling of the troubled East Ramapo School District that pits mostly black and Latino public school families against the Hasidic families in private schools.
At one point, the video makes a chilling comparison between a Facebook group called "Block the Block Vote" and Hitler propaganda.
News 12 reached out to the organizer of the Block the Block Vote Facebook page, who said it has nothing to do with religion and that he resents being called an anti-Semite.
