Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) visited the Westchester Democratic campaign headquarters in White Plains Friday to thank supporters for returning her to the U.S. Senate for a second term.
Clinton says with the Democratic win across the nation she is looking forward to getting back to work in Washington. She says she also sees changes ahead. Clinton says she will fight for more anti-terrorism dollars for New York and a $2 increase in the minimum wage.
With Clinton?s win over former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer behind her, questions have arisen about a possible presidential run in 2008. Clinton is still keeping mum on that prospect and says she is going to focus on the Senate victory for the Democrats.
