An apartment building at 3 Calvert St. had to be evacuated due to a fire on Nov. 22.
Over the weekend, some of the residents still unable to return gathered for a party complete with a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Organizers said they hoped to let those people know "that we are here, and our community is here, to help them in this difficult moment."
