A vehicle mysteriously caught fire underneath the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge on Tuesday.
The vehicle appears to be a pickup truck and was found down a steep embankment along the west side of the Hudson River.
The vehicle ended up steps from the river and railroad tracks.
Police say those in the vehicle took off from the scene.
