Various Veterans Day events planned across the Hudson Valley

New Rochelle, Bedford Hills and Suffern are some of the communities that are scheduled to have events that will pay tribute to veterans.

Communities throughout the Hudson Valley are set to have various Veterans Day events on Saturday.

New Rochelle's annual Veterans Day ceremony at the American Legion Post 8 at 112 North Ave. is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

Bedford Hills will also hold a Veterans Day celebration. The event will happen at the Bedford Hills Community House at 74 Main St. There will be food, drinks, live music and activities. The event is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

An annual Veterans Day is set to take place in Suffern. The parade will line up at Village Hall and a ceremony on Washington Avenue. This event is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

The City of Yonkers will salute its veterans during its annual ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Plaza on South Broadway at 11 a.m.

Over in Mount Vernon, veterans will need to bring in their VA card for the city's Veterans Day Dinner Celebration. The event starts at 4 p.m. at the Post 596 building on South 3rd Street. Prizes will also be raffled off.
