Several people living near the Bronx Zoo woke up to find their cars broken into overnight.
Neighbors say that six vehicles parked on Bronx Park South had their windows smashed in. They believe the vandal was trying to find anything valuable to steal.
The residents are now calling for more police patrols in the area at night.
The victims say they did report the break-ins to the police, but no formal report was filed at the 48th Precinct.
