The Valhalla community is remembering local firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial kicked off at Westchester County Fire Training Center Sunday morning.
Nearly 100 firefighters were honored for their sacrifices, dating back to the early 1900s.
