Uncle Giuseppe's opened its newest location in Westchester County today.
The new grocery store on Downing Drive in Yorktown features a fresh mozzarella station, a beer cave and a food court.
Customers are excited for this new place to shop. "It's absolutely beautiful. Customer service was excellent. Everything is perfect. It's huge. It was a wonderful experience. I just got a whole bunch of lobsters, $6.99 per pound. Coffee, some parmesan cheese," says Colleen Hassett, of Yorktown. "I'm really looking forward to it, you know, because the store has been empty for quite a few years, and it just looks gorgeous. So, I'm really happy," says Luise Fang, of Yorktown
The 45,000-square-foot location is the company's largest store in New York
It will employ 250 full- and part-time employees.
