The Ulster County Sheriff's Office reported Friday of a DWI arrest that happened earlier this month.

On May 12, deputies stopped a vehicle on State Route 32 in the Town of New Paltz for a traffic violation.

Through investigation, police found the defendant, a 28-year-old from Rosendale, was intoxicated.

The defendant faces the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations.
