Two arrested for armed bank robbery in Ardsley

Two people were arrested after police say they robbed a Chase Bank at gunpoint in Ardsley on Thursday morning.
Ardsley, Greenburgh and Westchester County Police responded to a silent alarm set off by a bank employee at 875 Saw Mill River Road around 9:30 a.m. Investigators said they arrived on the scene in less than a minute and determined the pair took an undisclosed amount of money after the male suspect "brandished a firearm."
Before noon, the two suspects, a man and a woman were arrested at the Ardsley on Hudson Train Station. Their identities have not been released yet.
Ardsley police have turned the case over to the FBI.
