TSA: Florida man arrested for trying to bring gun on plane at Stewart International Airport

A Florida man has been arrested for trying to carry a gun on to a plane Sunday at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, according to the Transportation Security Administration.

A Florida man has been arrested for trying to carry a gun on to a plane Sunday at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, according to the Transportation Security Administration.
News 12 is told that the gun was spotted as the man's belongings went through the X-ray machine.
The handgun was loaded with seven bullets, including one in the chamber.
The TSA immediately alerted the New York State Police, who responded to the checkpoint, confiscated the gun and arrested the man.
He faces a stiff federal civil penalties.
The TSA says this is the second time this month that a person tried bringing a loaded gun onto a plane at Stewart International Airport.
