Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for 2024, speculated on his running mate during an exclusive interview with News 12 Thursday night.
When asked about Nikki Haley’s positive comments toward him following their contentious primary battles, Trump told News 12’s Tara Rosenblum, “well I think she’s going to be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, the same thoughts.”
Trump did not clarify if he was speaking specifically about the VP position or a different position within the administration.
Other names floated by Trump were Ben Carson, Sen. Marco Rubio, Sen. J.D. Vance and Rep. Elise Stefanik.
