A special Halloween event was held at the Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla.
Over 150 children celebrated Halloween at the third annual "Truck or Treat" Halloween party on Friday.
The event was developed by Wappingers Falls police officer Mark Voeltz, who wanted to offer the fun of trick-or-treating to those who would not otherwise have the chance.
"We felt that we could bring Halloween to them here and let them walk around," Voeltz said. "Instead of houses they have trucks to go through. We try to have several varieties of different types of trucks here. So the kids that often miss out on Halloween, they still get the chance to get dressed up."
The children were also treated to a special Westchester County Police helicopter flyover.
