Truck hits overpass in Mount Vernon
A tractor-trailer traveling illegally on the Hutchinson River Parkway slammed into the Lincoln Avenue overpass in Mount Vernon last night. Police say the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

A tractor-trailer traveling illegally on the Hutchinson River Parkway slammed into the Lincoln Avenue overpass in Mount Vernon last night.
Police say the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday.
The driver says he was just following his GPS. He was ticketed because trucks are not allowed on parkways.
A tow truck helped lower the big rig to get it out, and the Hutch reopened after an hour.
