Thousands without power Sunday following storms; fire breaks out after tree falls on power lines in Woodbury

A fire broke out Saturday night following heavy rain and thunderstorms in Woodbury.
It happened on Baker Town Road and Sunny Lane, where a tree fell on wires.
Video shows smoke coming from the fire, that caused police to block off the road.
Dozens were left without power in the area, and several others in the Hudson Valley woke up without power due to storm damage.
Here are the latest power updates (as of 8 a.m.):
Con Ed: 2,861 customers without power this morning with the Village of Irvington and the City of New Rochelle, which were hit the hardest. Many areas are expected to see power restored by 10 p.m.
Orange and Rockland: 368 customers out of service with Clarkstown hit the worst.
NYSEG: Westchester - 935 outages. Putnam: 575. Dutchess: 15.
Central Hudson: Dutchess: 416 customers, Ulster: 351 Customers.
