Canceled Southwest flights have been impacting travelers who were either trying to leave or arrive at Bradley Airport near Hartford.

People arrived at the airport with stories of canceled flights, struggles of buying new tickets and the hardship of having to leave family members behind.

The Rule family told News 12 they were supposed to fly to Albany on Southwest. They ended up flying to Bradley Airport because it was as close as they could get. The family says they are doing everything possible to get home.
