A Metro-North train struck and killed a man Tuesday afternoon at the Croton-Harmon station.
A Poughkeepsie-bound train from Grand Central Station hit the man at around 4 p.m. in Croton-on-Hudson.
Authorities have not released the victim's name, but say he is a 19-year-old male from Croton. It is unclear whether he jumped or fell onto the tracks.
Police say they hope security footage from around the station will provide clues as to how exactly the man wound up on the tracks.
Trains were running with about 20-30-minute delays after the incident, but schedule times have since returned to normal.
