Dutchess County Emergency Management said Thursday night that Route 22 reopened in both directions in the Town of Dover after a vehicle crash forced a shutdown earlier.

The social media post stated the closure was at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 55.

The closure was announced shortly after 4 p.m.

Dutchess County Emergency Management announced the roadway was reopened as of 8:30 p.m.

Details of the crash, how many people were involved or if there were any injuries were not released as of Thursday night.
