A traffic alert for Hudson Valley drivers as lane reductions are expected along Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester County.
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect single and double lane closures along the Sprain Brook Parkway in each direction between the Bronx River Parkway in the City of Yonkers and the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Mount Pleasant.
The DOT roadway work will run today through Friday, March 15, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual's driver license.
