A tractor-trailer struck an overpass on the Hutchinson River Parkway early Friday morning.
The crash temporarily closed the southbound side between exits 22 and 23, but lanes have since been reopened.
Officials say when the truck hit the overpass pieces of the top of the truck broke off and onto the roadway, however nothing the truck was transporting was spilled.
The truck's debris caused several flat tires, but no one was injured.
It isn't known yet where the driver got on the parkway, but he was issued several tickets.
