Con Edison says it is watching for downed trees and power lines. It said it also has hundreds of workers on standby.

News 12's Ty Milburn was in Dobbs Ferry Thursday evening where the evening commute slowed by wet conditions on the road.
Department of Public Works crews were monitoring catch basins. Officials say a lot of leaves were falling so there was concern they could get caught in the catch basins and cause flooding.
DPW crews are also keeping an eye on river and water levels.
